The Giganotosarus had a carnivorous diet and lived during the Cretaceous period in South America. Fossils from this dinosaur have been found in the country of Argentina. This was the largest meat eating dinosaur to ever live and was even larger than T-rex and it was even faster than the T-rex. It most likely hunted animals and prey far larger than itself. The Giganotosarus had an unsually small head for a creature of its size, due to the long and narrow size of its skull, the brain is approximated to have been the size of a banana.
