The Allosaur Dinosaur was a large dinosaur from the Jurasic period that lived about 150 million years ago. It was one of the largest dinosaurs of its time with a length of around 27 feet. They weighed an average of 2 to 4 tons and had a carnivorous diet. It is speculated that this dinosaur hunted other dinosaurs, for example the Stegosaurus. They are also said to have been scavengers, where they would receive their nourishment from sauropods that had fallen.
 

Cast of the large toe ungual from a large bipedal carnivorous dinosaur of the Jurassic, 156-130 MYA. The original claw was unearthed in the Morrison formation at the Cleveland-Lloyd Quarry in central Utah.
